Chuck Reynolds
Chuck Reynolds is Director of Bands for the Madison Central School Zone in Madison, Mississippi, where he supervises instrumental music instruction at Madison Middle School, Rosa Scott High School, and Madison Central High School. Mr. Reynolds is the conductor of the Madison Central Symphonic Band and the All-Superior “Jaguar” Marching Band. Before his appointment as Director of Bands, Mr. Reynolds was the Associate Director for Madison Central for nine years. He also served as Director of Bands at Northwest Rankin High School for three years and Director of Bands at Jackson Preparatory School for five years. Mr. Reynolds holds a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, a Master of Music Education degree from Mississippi College, and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Delta State University.
Mr. Reynolds’ ensembles have performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas. He has been chosen as a Star Teacher by his students and the Mississippi Economic Council three times. In addition to his duties at Madison Central, he keeps an active schedule as a guest clinician and conductor, and church musician. Mr. Reynolds is the past President of the Mississippi Private School Band Association and the Capital City Band Directors Association. In 2019 Reynolds was named the East Central Mississippi Band Director Association Band Director of the Year. Professional memberships include Mississippi Bandmasters Association, Phi Beta Mu, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, National Band Association, and the American School Band Directors Association.
